We are thrilled to present I.A.M in our Wednesday series of ten minute live Zoom readings.

I.A.M, known as Iris A. Morales, is a Queer Boricua Visual Artist and Poet. I.A.M was born and raised in the Bronx and is currently residing in Washington Heights. She recently published two art pieces for the Staten Island Zine League magazine. I.A.M also worked on two video projects with musicians Not4prophet, Amy Ponce and Film maker/ Photographer Omar Villega for a BLM and Taino Mythology music video called “Harder than a Hurricane”. She finds inspiration in nature and in spirituality. She tells her stories of trauma, spiritual beliefs, survival and finding self love and acceptance in her art and poetry.
