Rebel Poet is a Nuyorican poet, activist, musician, and songwriter, who was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and partly raised in Long Island, NY. He is an alumni of, Capicu School Of Poetic Arts, and is also known as “La Sopa”. Rebel Poet is an eternal student of life, a high school dropout who has returned to school for Music Production & Soundtrack Design at The Academy Of Art University. His  love for the Arts spills onto the stage as his rage honors his ancestors.

Dee Truepoetry was born in New York City May 5th,1980 and moved to Connecticut in 1992, she now resides in Waterbury. Writing since 1996, beginning spoken word  in 2009, gracing many stages in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey, Dee Truepoetry is a mother of three, State of Connecticut Beat Poet Laureate of 2018-2020, President of non-profit organization Make'Em Believe based in Waterbury. In addition, she is a curator of many open mics like Grown and Sexy Poetry and Positive Expression for the youth. Her passion is to make a difference in the community by inspiring others to take action hoping her words of encourage will live forever  through her poetry.
