Poet Bernard King has been hosting "poetry read by songwriters" events at the SideWalk Cafe and other city venues for the last 15 years. The Bernard King Presents series is a mix of his own writing and that of other artists, interpreted by habitués of the Antifolk scene from the East Village and Staten Island.
