John Heaviside got his start exploring the limits of sound poetry during the heyday of the Nuyorican during the 90's. Today he continues his craft doing workshops and performances in and around The Seattle area.
Barbara Rosenthal’s major books are Clues to Myself (VSW 1981), Sensations (VSW 1984), Homo Futurus (VSW1986), Soul & Psyche (VSW 1998), and Wish for Amnesia (Deadly Chaps Press, 2017). She taught Writing at CUNY/Staten Island for 22 years, has been included in numerous magazines, and anthologies such as Cradle and All (Faber and Faber) and The Big Book of Sex (Autonomedia), is a member of The Unbearables, and has read solo at international venues such as the Cialuna Library in Barletta, Italy, and Studio-Baustelle in Berlin, and been featured at most in NYC, such as Bowery, Parkside, Shades, HiFi and Cornelia St.
Doreen (Dd) Spungin hosts poetry events for PPA and Poets In Nassau. Her poems can be found in print and online journals and anthologies. She lives on Long Island with her very supportive husband, Neil. Spungin lives for love, prays for peace and writes for her sanity.
